DeMeco Ryans did not take long into his tenure as head coach of the Houston Texans to dip into the talent pool at his alma mater, taking Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. with the third overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. But Ryans and the Texans were not done there.
On the final day of the draft, Houston went back to its Tuscaloosa pipeline to select linebacker Henry To'oTo'o with the 33rd pick in the fourth round. The California native spent the first two years of his college career with Tennessee before transferring to Alabama and becoming a crucial part of the Crimson Tide's defense.
To'oTo'o led Alabama in tackles as a junior and finished second on the team in his final season last year. He racked up 15.5 tackles for a loss and 6.5 sacks across two seasons.
