Publix sets purchase limits ahead of Christmas due to supply issues, holiday demand

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — Publix is setting some limitations on food items that customers can purchase this Christmas.

Publix before Thanksgiving also limited items such as canned cranberry sauce, bacon, and canned pie filling.

Now that list has been updated ahead of Christmas.

Publix shares the following items are limited due to supply issues and increased holiday demand.

Customers are limited to buying two of any individual items in the following list:

• Coconut Flakes
• Dairy Whipping Cream
• Half & Half Creamers
• Frozen Pie Shells
• Frozen Hashbrowns
• Canola, Vegetable, and Corn Oil
• Canned Cranberry Sauce
• Jarred Gravy
• Cream Cheese
• Bacon
• Rolled Breakfast Sausage
• Disposable Plates, Cups, And Cutlery
• Bath Tissue
• Refrigerated Snacks(Lunchable Items)
• Sports Drinks
• Aseptic Type Jurices(Capri Sun)
• Canned Cat Food(Variety Packs and Refrigerated Pet Food)

Additionally, customers are limited to buying 10 individual cans or pouches in the following list:
