CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said this week on Fox News that she's not so sure 80-year-old President Joe Biden would make it through a second term in the White House.
She believes it's very clear that a vote for Joe Biden is a vote for his running mate Kamala Harris to be president.
"...because the idea that he would make it until 86 years old is not something that I think is likely," Haley said.
Biden is the oldest president in United States history and just announced his re-election campaign earlier this week.
For concerns regarding his age, Biden has said he respects voters who take it into consideration.
I take a hard look at it as well. I took a hard look at it before I decided to run. And, and I feel good. I feel excited about the prospects and I think we're on the verge of really turning the corner in a way we haven't in a long time," he said.
