Parkville High School has launched an investigation after learning of "concerning content" allegedly posted to social media accounts belonging to a school security assistant, Fox45 News has learned.

Fox45 News received a copy of an email sent this afternoon to Parkville High School families. The letter, sent by Parkville High School Principal Maureen Astarita, says the school is following "all BCPS policy and processes to investigate this matter."

The investigation relates to 33-year-old Brandon Emge, Fox45 News confirmed with Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS). Enge started employment at Parkville High School in April after abruptly leaving his prior post at Sparrows Point High School, according to multiple sources.

BCPS confirmed to Fox45 News that Emge is a security assistant at Parkville High School. His position includes working with school resource officers to keep the hallways, classrooms and bathrooms secure during the school day.

It kind of freaks me out, why isn’t Baltimore County Public Schools trying to get into people’s heads, do deeper research on people before hiring them and see where they’re at. They need to see if they can work with children. The schools need to put boundaries on things," Aliza Sanchuk, a junior at Sparrows Point High School, said to Fox45 News.

A Fox45 News investigation found a screen capture video depicting what appears to be Emge's now-defunct Twitter account. In the video, there are many Twitter “likes” under this handle of sexually explicit material, including what appears to be young women and young homosexual men engaging in sexual acts.

Additionally, Fox45 News found a "FetLife" social media account appearing to belong to Emge. "FetLife" identifies itself as a "popular social network for the BDSM, fetish and kinky community."

Emge did not reply to a request for comment from Fox45 News Friday.
