Woman found dead in Dora roadway, police ask for information

DORA, Ala. (WBMA) — A Jasper woman was found dead in a roadway in Dora early Sunday morning, according to the Dora Police Department.

Police said a call reported an unresponsive female on the ground in the 1900 block of Sellers Road.

Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene and was later identified as Misty Lynn Freeman Clark.

Police said Clark's body was sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences for an autopsy due to "suspicious circumstances."
