Coosa County teen shot and killed in Sylacauga

Sylacauga Police says officers arrived in the Drew Court Housing Complex and located a male teen in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.

Officers say 16-year-old Dallas Johnson was pronounced deceased on scene.

An autopsy will be performed at the Alabama Department of Forensic Science, in Montgomery.

No suspect information is available and no one is in custody.

Sylacauga City Schools in a post on social media announced the cancelation of all scheduled events.

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers announced it is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information that leads to the identification of a suspect.
