PELHAM (WBMA) — The Pelham Police Department said one person was taken into custody Friday afternoon following at bank robbery near the corner of Highway 119 and Highway 31 in Pelham.
Police said a suspect presented a note to a bank teller at Union State Bank around 1:30 p.m. Friday. No weapon was ever shown and the man escaped with an unknown amount of money.
The suspect was identified by police and was eventually take into custody near Greenville at 4:13 p.m.
