HOOVER, Ala. (WBMA) — An investigation is underway after a bank in Hoover was robbed Tuesday.
The Hoover Police Department says the Well Fargo located on John Hawkins Parkway was robbed just before 11:00 a.m.
Police said witnesses reported that a tall, thin male entered the bank and demanded money from the teller, indicating he was armed.
The person reportedly fled the bank with an undetermined amount of money.

Police said officers, with the assistance of STAR 1 from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, searched the area but the suspect was not located.
