TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A Northport man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said 25-year-oldDavid J. Lancasterwas fatally injured when the 2016 Ford F-250 that he was driving left the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. on Upper Columbus Road near Sam Sutton Road, about two miles north of Northport.

ALEA said Lancaster was not using his seat belt at the time of crash, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
ALEA said troopers with its Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate.
