One dead, two injured after crash on I-65 in Cullman County

CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — A Berry man was killed, and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 65 in Cullman County Monday morning.

The crash happened near the 318 mile marker, about five miles south of Falkville.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said 37-year-old David A. Moore was fatally injured when the pickup truck he was driving struck a tractor-trailer.

ALEA said after the initial impact, the tractor-trailer struck another pickup truck which then struck a second tractor-trailer.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. ALEA said two passengers in Moore's truck were transported to Cullman Regional Medical Center for treatment.

ALEA said its Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate the incident.
